The Highstreet Kitchen offers a relaxed dining experience focusing primarily on local sustainable food, working with dedicated local farmers and producers. The restaurant has been a dream for Gavin Barnes for over a decade and it has now become a shared vision for the whole team.

The Mayflower

The Mayflower is a traditional pub with rooms, located adjacent to the main slipway and Lymington Town Sailing Club and Royal Lymington Sailing Club with views over the river. Whether your are stopping by for a pint or a coffee or tucking into a delicious locally sourced breakfast, lunch or supper there’s always a warm welcome. In the bar, you’ll find a cracking range of cask ale and craft beer, plus local cider and a great wine selection. Outside their garden and veranda are ideal for al fresco drinking and dining in the sunshine.

Coffee & Drift

Solento Lounge

If you’ve not experienced the singular pleasure of a Lounge, it’s hard to do our interiors justice. Think sinking into a battered old club chair under a tremendously tassel-y lampshade, overlooked by an eclectic collection of paintings adorning retro wallpaper-covered walls. Our menus reflect our personality. We take food really seriously, using the best fresh produce in really creative dishes, but we also make sure our menus are about pleasure, indulgence, and fun!

Haven Bar & Restaurant

With wrap around views of the Solent and Isle of Wight, pop in for a drink or food which can be enjoyed both inside or outside on their sunny decked area. Lal Quilla is one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Lymington offering the finest of Indian cuisine. Founded in 1988 they provide options to dine in their restaurant or select takeaway options from their location at the bottom of Lymington High Street.

The Elderflower

The Elderflower is a firm favourite for food lovers. Situated on the cobbled Quay Street in the heart of Lymington its Head Chef – Patron Andrew Du Bourg – has won many national and local accolades including Hampshire Chef of the Year and gaining 3AA rosettes. The Elderflower is recognized for its modern British cuisine with French influences, sourcing local produce from the New Forest and surrounding coast.

Lanes of Lymington

Chef Peter Leyland-Jones and his wife Nicola realised their dream of bringing their years of experience and passion for food and hospitality by creating a restaurant and cookery school in Lanes of Lymington. The stylishly presented interior on split levels, formerly a Church and a school, is tucked away down a quiet cul de sac just off the High Street. The menus offer exceptional, yet affordable, dining to suit all tastes and are prepared daily.

Lounges

Lounges is a family owned independent coffee shop on the bustling High Street in Lymington. Located in a wonderful Grade Two listed property with exposed beams and a quaint courtyard for those sunny days, it is an ideal place for meeting up with friends and family for a coffee and bite to eat. Along with a warm welcome, Lounges offer a range of breakfast and lunch options all day and also a variety of cakes, scones and traybakes.

The Six Bells

The Six Bells, part of the Weatherspoons group, opened in 2013 and has proved incredibly popular thanks to its competitive prices. This venue has a spacious interior and a large garden area offering a great selection of ales and regular food offers throughout the week with food available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Caffé Nero is a coffee house brand specialising in the creation of high quality Italian coffee. Located in the middle of Lymington High Street it offers great coffee and other hot and cold drinks, freshly baked pastries, cakes, sandwiches and other snacks. The Angel and Blue Pig

The Angel and Blue Pig is the oldest inn in Lymington, dating back to the 13th century. The Kings Head

Situated at the top of the steep cobbled lane leading to The Olde Quay, The Kings Head combines old-fashioned furnishings complete with original beams, an open log fire and a small courtyard garden. Kings Arms Pub

Traditional 16th Century Tudor style pub at the top of the High Street in Lymington with a secret beer garden. Offers a wide variety of drinks and offers and food. Also hosts live music and shows live sport events.

The Bosun’s Chair

The Bosun’s Chair is a three-storey building which was originally a coach house. Conveniently located very near to Lymington Town Station. Serves delicious British food and real ales in a cosy atmosphere. Food menus vary with the seasons with winter focusing on warming British classics and delicious Sunday roasts and summer bringing light mediterranean-inspired dishes and weekend tapas. This family friendly pub also boasts a large secure beer garden and stretch tent which hosts a calendar of spectacular events and live sports.

Chequers Inn

When you visit the Chequers Inn you really will be experiencing a little bit of history.  Documented deeds go back to 1695, distinguished by the chequered sign. The Chequers’ country lane location is the ideal base for a circular walk along the sea wall, with a warm stove awaiting in winter, and a walled garden in summer. The blackboard a la carte menu changes with the seasons with a range of interesting meals and bar snacks. Real ales are a speciality along with a well chosen wine list.

Fisherman’s Rest

Originally a private home, The Fisherman’s Rest was granted a liquor licence in 1870 and became a local haunt for smugglers. These days its proud to be a community driven pub with a mouth-watering menu of pub food classics with a focus on fresh seasonal and locally sourced ingredients including seafood and an ever-changing specials board. With the option to choose from a bar menu or an a la carte restaurant menu, this makes them a great spot for a light lunch or a romantic evening meal.
